1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are text strings that websites visited by a user, or third parties operating through those sites, store on the user's device so they can be retransmitted to those same parties on the next visit. Similar tools can perform analogous functions using technologies other than cookies.

3. How This Site Uses Cookies

This site uses:

• technical cookies, necessary for the operation of the site and for storing user choices (active);
• analytics cookies linked to Google Analytics (declared and technically configured, but not yet active — no tracking script is loaded);
• advertising and profiling cookies linked to Google AdSense (declared and technically configured, but not yet active — no advertising script is loaded).

Except for strictly necessary technical cookies, no non-technical cookie or tracking tool is activated on first access before the user makes a choice. The declared analytics and advertising services will only become operational after an update to this Cookie Policy specifying the activation date.

4. Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are used for browsing, to ensure the correct functioning of the site, to manage user preferences and to document consent choices. These cookies do not require the user's consent, but an information notice is required.

The site uses technical cookies necessary for the functioning of pages, security, preference management and the recording of cookie choices. These cookies do not require the user's consent.

5. Google Analytics Cookies

Current status: service not active. Google Analytics 4 is declared and the technical consent infrastructure is configured, but the service is not currently operational: no Google Analytics script is loaded and no browsing data is sent to Google. The service will only be activated after an update to this Cookie Policy specifying the effective activation date.

When active, the service will collect statistical information on site usage (pages visited, sessions, device technical data) only upon the user's consent via the cookie banner.

6. Google AdSense Cookies

Current status: service not active. Google AdSense is declared and the technical consent infrastructure is configured, but the service is not currently operational: no Google advertising script is loaded and no AdSense ads are displayed. The service will only be activated after an update to this Cookie Policy.

When active, Google AdSense may use cookies and other identifiers to display ads, limit their repetition, measure advertising performance and, subject to specific consent, personalise advertising based on user interests.

7. Consent Management

The user may:

• give consent to optional cookies and tracking tools via the banner consent button;
• manage their choices in detail via the "Manage options" panel;
• confirm only the selected purposes and providers in the management panel;
• modify or withdraw preferences at any time via the "Your Privacy Choices" link permanently available in the site footer.

In the site's consent management configuration, optional categories are deselected by default in the management panel. In the absence of consent to optional categories, only strictly necessary technical components remain active.

8. Cookie Categories

The updated list of individual cookies used by the site, with name, provider, category, purpose and duration, is available in the "Your Privacy Choices" panel accessible from the site footer.

9. Retention

Information collected via cookies and other tracking tools is retained for the periods indicated in the settings of the respective tools and in the providers' policies. First-party localStorage consent preferences persist until manually cleared by the user.

10. Third Parties

At present, no third party installs, manages or accesses cookies via this site. The site does not load analytics, advertising or tracking scripts from third parties. The only client-side storage technologies in use are first-party and technical in nature (see §4).

Should third-party services be activated in the future — in particular Google Analytics and Google AdSense, for which technical consent infrastructure is already configured but services are not operational — this section will be updated to include the relevant providers, purposes, data processed and links to their notices.

The site uses technical providers for development, hosting and infrastructure management, including Replit and Aruba S.p.A., which are not listed as parties installing cookies or tracking tools on the user's device: these parties operate exclusively as server infrastructure and do not interact with the end user's browser.

11. How to Disable or Delete Cookies

The user may manage cookie preferences:

• via the site's banner and "Your Privacy Choices" panel;
• via browser settings, which generally allow blocking or deleting installed cookies;
• via privacy settings made available by third-party providers, where applicable.

12. Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects may exercise the rights provided under Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent.

This Cookie Policy may be updated at any time to reflect regulatory changes, technical modifications to the services used or changes in third-party providers. Users are invited to consult it periodically.
